Terms of service
Last updated 10 August 2026
Agreement
These terms govern access to and use of Lawrs, including the tool library, Lawrs Chat, Lawrs Connect, and any custom development delivered under a separate statement of work. Creating an account or using any part of the product means you accept them on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the organization you represent.
What Lawrs is
Lawrs is a set of tools that read, redline, and cite across matter documents. It produces drafts, findings, and citations for a person to review. It does not provide legal advice, does not form an attorney-client relationship, and is not a substitute for the judgment of a qualified lawyer.
Every output includes the source it was drawn from so a reviewer can confirm it before relying on it. You are responsible for that review before an output is used in a matter.
Accounts
You need an account to use most of the product. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity that happens under your credentials. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lawrs to process documents you do not have the right to process, to attempt to extract another workspace's data, to reverse engineer the underlying models, or to build a competing product from the output.
We can suspend or terminate an account for use that violates this section or puts other workspaces at risk.
Matter data and ownership
You own the documents and data you send through Lawrs. We process them to deliver the tool or workflow you invoked, on the terms in the privacy policy. Feedback you give us about the product may be used to improve it without further obligation to you.
Fees
Paid plans and custom development are billed on the terms set out at signup or in the applicable statement of work. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise in that agreement.
Disclaimers
Lawrs is provided as is. We do not warrant that outputs are complete, error free, or suitable for a particular matter, which is why every finding carries a citation back to its source for you to check.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Lawrs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the product. Our aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the amount paid for the service giving rise to it in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Lawrs and close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms that is not cured after notice.
Changes to these terms
We will give workspace administrators notice before a material change to these terms takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the revised terms.
